USVI governor lands $165 million distillery for St Croix
ST CROIX, USVI: Governor John deJongh made a televised address to the US Virgin Islands on Monday night to announce that he has just signed a landmark public-private partnership with Diageo, PLC for the construction of a state-of-the-art, environmentally sound, $165 million rum distillery on St Croix.
