As our wedding anniversary approaches - July 21 - I remembered what a beautiful time we had on our honeymoon in the US Virgin Islands. We went to St John for 10 days. It was amazing! The weather…. the lying on the beach doing nothing….the food….etc…:)…was beautiful… We stayed at the Westin Resort in St John. What a place! I highly recommend it! You can only get there by ferry. You fly into St. Thomas and from there you take about a 25 minute ferry ride to the Westin. Ferry docks right on the beach in front of the Westin. The resort offers shuttles into town where your wife can jewelry shop till she drops…or your wallet goes bust…whichever comes first…lol…..enjoy a few drinks overlooking the bay…..or dine at any of the many fantastic harbor restaurants. Wow…writing this is making me wanna leave NY on the next flight out to the USVI!! Anyways, just wanted to share a few words about our honeymoon at St John….

I just caught myself daydreaming again about St. Thomas….I hate when that happens!….:) Anyways we just came back from St Thomas in February and already we miss it! We had gone with my wife’s sister, brother-in-law and their 3 kids. (We have a 3yr old boy). We loved it! The kids had a blast! We stayed at the Secret Harbour Beach Resort. We had a gorgeous two-bedroom condo overlooking the beach. The swimming pool and tennnis courts (which were always empty…:) ) were 10 steps from our balcony. We cant wait to get back to the USVI….The only negative was that the resort was not the most child-friendliest around…but aside from that I highly recommend the US Virgin Islands for your next vacation…..My wife and I had honeymooned at St. John…another beautiful US Virgin Island….Anyways as soon as I get the chance I will share some pics with everybody….For now, I’m here in New York….wishing I was there!…:)
